CK Africa Talent is seeking a Scheduling / Production Administrator to join a growing team based in Durban North . This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact by ensuring smooth production operations through effective scheduling and coordination.

Job Purpose

As a Scheduling / Production Administrator , you will play a key role in supporting the production planning team by managing schedules, tracking inventory, maintaining order timelines, and communicating effectively with suppliers and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

Production Scheduling

  • Develop, update, and maintain daily and weekly production schedules.
  • Collaborate with the Production Manager to prioritize work orders and manage resource allocation.

Data Entry & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of production schedules, work orders, and inventory levels in ERP or scheduling systems.
  • Create and distribute regular reports on production progress and material status.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements for scheduling and material planning.
  • Assist with implementing planning software updates or new scheduling techniques.

  • Qualifications
  • Matric required; a diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Production Management, or related field is a plus.
  • Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in production scheduling, material planning, or administrative support in manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with ERP / MRP systems and scheduling software is advantageous.
  • Skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
