Job summary

AVBOB South Africa is seeking an experienced Product Specialist to own, grow and optimise our savings product portfolio through end-to-end strategy, customer value propositions and digital adoption.

You will collaborate with Technology, UX, Operations and external partners to design innovative savings solutions, translate business needs into clear requirements, ensure FAIS/POPIA compliance, and drive growth, activation and retention across customer segments.

Qualifications

• Experience defining savings product strategy in a regulated environment.
• Ability to translate business needs into product specifications and user stories.
• Proven track record delivering digital savings solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Savings product strategy aligned to business objectives.
• Develop and maintain the product roadmap with strategic partners.
• Drive agile delivery and continuous product improvement initiatives.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (FAIS, POPIA, Treating Customers Fairly).
• Collaborate with Marketing, Technology, UX, Operations and external stakeholders.
