Requirements:

Qualifications / Certifications:

  • ServiceNow certification or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience working in a PwC environment or similar consulting firm.
  • Familiarity with API integration and development standards

Experience & Skills:

  • Proven experience in developing and managing Service Catalog items and platform integration services.
  • Strong understanding of technical best practices for ServiceNow or similar platforms.
  • Excellent consultative skills with the ability to understand and meet requester objectives.
  • Proficiency in creating detailed technical documentation and transition artifacts.
  • Experience in conducting knowledge transfer sessions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Able and willingness to work flexible hours in line with the USA East Coast (~10:00 - ~18:00). Not from the likes of 14:00 - 22:00
  • To be based in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban or Gqeberha (previously Port Elizabeth)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Manage SRIs and KBs: Create and manage Service Request Items (SRIs), Knowledge Base (KB) articles, and other necessary items to support the engagement model for the consumption of Service Catalog and integration services.
  • Consultation and Technical Solutions: Work closely with requesters to understand their objectives and provide technical solutions based on industry best practices.
  • Development, Testing, and Implementation: Oversee the development, testing, and implementation of all Service Requests and integrations related to the scope of engagements.
  • Artifact Creation: Produce all necessary artifacts to support Catalog development and integrations, including design diagrams, knowledge articles, test scripts, and details of any roles or rules used by the integration.
  • Knowledge Transfer: Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to platform support teams, ensuring an effective transition to operations for ongoing support of integrations.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including integration and API consumption guides, development guidelines, and standards specific to implementing integrations with ServiceNow in the PwC environment
