PwC has recently launched the South African Technology & Innovation Centre (SATIC), designed to innovate, build, and deploy solutions for our global clients across a range of technology and transformational needs.

We are seeking candidates with experience in overseeing and managing the delivery of HR services to clients.

Ideal candidates should have backgrounds in managing teams of Human Resource consultants. SATIC will work closely with PwC UK and global consulting practices, offering an exciting opportunity to shape a meaningful career and help our clients address significant societal challenges.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing teams providing human resource services within a consulting context, with a strong understanding of Human Resource Processes. This role primarily involves managing a Human Resource Services team and offers the opportunity to work virtually from South Africa with PwC UK and Global practices to serve both UK-based and international clients.

As a senior manager, you will lead the delivery of complex engagements to senior client stakeholders, helping them address HR service challenges and create value. Additionally, as the SATIC Human Resource Practice Lead, you will support the growth and establishment of a leading Human Resource Delivery team.

You will build relationships across South Africa, the UK, and other PwC territories, to identify growth opportunities, mentor team members, and foster a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Experience required:

  • 10+ years leading human resource programs with diverse stakeholders.
  • Understanding of HR processes and environments (UK & EU experience advantageous).
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams providing HR advice and guidance.
  • Proven track record managing complex projects with tight deadlines.
  • Recent experience delivering various HR services and engaging stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills.

Qualifications / Certifications:

  • University degree and professional qualifications in a Human Resources-related field.

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic and operational plans for HR Managed Services, aligning with SATIC's business objectives. Identify growth opportunities and expand service offerings.
  2. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with PwC SA and UK, understanding client needs and ensuring satisfaction. Act as the escalation point and oversee service delivery.
  3. Service Delivery Management: Oversee HR managed services, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  4. Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team, fostering high performance and continuous improvement.
  5. Process Optimization and Innovation: Implement process improvements, leveraging technology, AI, and innovative solutions to enhance service quality.
  6. Performance Tracking and Reporting: Develop KPIs, monitor service quality, and report to stakeholders.
  7. Business Development Support: Participate in client presentations and negotiations to secure new business.
  8. Market and Industry Analysis: Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes, adapting services accordingly.
