Requirements

• Qualifications / Certifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Business, Data, or Technology.
• Experience: 3-5 years in technology and data programs such as ERP data migrations.
• Technical Skills: Strong experience or certifications in Python & SQL; familiarity with Alteryx and/or Informatica; cloud platforms and deployment tools; ERP/CRM/HR systems like Workday, Sage, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics & Salesforce.
• IT Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
• Other: Willingness to travel globally as required.

Desirable Skills

• Specialized knowledge in data migrations, governance, scripting, and ERP/CRM/HR data projects.
• Experience with containerized applications (e.g., FastAPI, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of software development best practices and team collaboration.
• Experience with GitHub and leveraging GenAI for software development.
• Experience with finance systems.

Key Responsibilities

We seek motivated individuals with a proven track record in delivering high-quality client projects in data and technology. Responsibilities include working with clients, reporting to seniors, coaching juniors, creating and reviewing deliverables, and developing data scripts.

You will identify migration requirements, execute migration cycles, ensure consistent approaches, and collaborate with clients to resolve data issues. You will design robust migration solutions, maintain assets like the PwC Data Migration Suite, and work across teams and regions to deliver data solutions for large-scale transformations.

This role involves collaboration with UK and international teams, ongoing personal development, and staying current with trends in data and AI to enhance client impact. Based in Johannesburg, the role is part of PwC's expanding Data Engineering and Migration team within Risk practice.

You will be integral to delivering data solutions across sectors, with access to training, certifications, and support from the PwC network. The candidate should be achievement-oriented, flexible, adaptive, able to work independently and in teams, maintaining high-quality outputs in a fast-paced, energetic environment.
