Qualifications / Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
Experience & Skills:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis or related roles, preferably in a product development environment
- Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques, including Agile frameworks and user story creation.
- Proficient in data analysis, process mapping, and requirements management tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to engage diverse stakeholders and promote collaboration.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, paired with a proactive approach to problem solving and decision making
Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements, translating them into clear and concise functional specifications for product development.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement, facilitating workshops and discussions to capture insights and feedback.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
- Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams, ensuring all parties have a shared understanding of project goals, requirements, and timelines.
- Facilitate meetings and presentations to communicate findings, product updates, and recommendations, promoting transparency and collaboration.
Product Development Support:
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure that user experience considerations are integrated into product requirements and designs.
- Work closely with development teams to validate that implemented solutions meet business requirements and expectations, performing user acceptance testing (UAT) as needed.
Process Mapping and Documentation:
- Develop process maps, ERD’s, use cases, and user stories to document current and future business processes, enhancing clarity and insight for stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of requirements, project scope, and testing outcomes to ensure a clear project trail and knowledge sharing.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
- Identify opportunities for innovation and process enhancement, promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the product development lifecycle.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices, leveraging insights to enhance product offerings and operational effectiveness.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze data and metrics related to product performance and user feedback, providing actionable insights and recommendations to improve product features.
- Prepare reports and dashboards to communicate key findings to management and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Training and Knowledge Sharing:
- Assist in training staff and stakeholders on new product features, functionalities, and best practices, promoting effective adoption and utilization.
- Foster a collaborative environment by sharing knowledge, tools, and techniques with team members to enhance collective capabilities.
Agile Practices:
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives, to ensure alignment with the product development process and goals.
- Embrace agile methodologies to adapt to changing requirements and priorities, ensuring a responsive development process.
