Job description

Role Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Associate – Business Analyst to join our team. This role is key in driving strategic and operational improvements across client engagements by understanding business needs, analyzing processes, and delivering actionable insights. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to define requirements, assess solutions, and ensure the delivery of value-driven outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering

  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and translate them into detailed business and functional requirements
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process walkthroughs to elicit and document requirements
  • Map current-state ("as-is") and future-state ("to-be") processes using tools like BPMN or Visio

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to support decision-making
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities across business processes
  • Support development of dashboards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks

Solution Design & Delivery

  • Collaborate with technical teams to validate feasibility and alignment of proposed solutions
  • Assist with development of user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases for Agile delivery
  • Support UAT planning and execution, and help manage issue resolution

Project & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment
  • Help manage project timelines, deliverables, and scope changes
  • Contribute to the preparation of client presentations, reports, and status updates

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor solution performance and adoption, and recommend optimizations post-implementation
  • Support risk identification and mitigation planning
  • Share knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned across teams

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in business analysis, ideally within a consulting or professional services environment
  • Strong understanding of business analysis frameworks and methodologies (BABOK, Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Excel, Power BI/Tableau, Visio/Lucidchart
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and manage stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with cross-functional teams
  • Business Analysis certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus
