We’re hiring a Lead Developer for SAS Visual Investigator to take end-to-end ownership of the design, build, and optimization of investigative intelligence systems. This is a high-impact role working on real-world challenges like fraud detection, financial risk, and security monitoring.

The Role.

SAS Visual Investigator (VI) Development Leadership

• Lead the end-to-end solution architecture and development of SAS Visual Investigator use cases
• Design and configure complex workflow processes, case management logic, and investigation paths
• Oversee entity and relationship modeling, data linkages, and entity behavior logic
• Drive scenario configuration, alert logic, and automation of investigative triggers
• Lead customization of interactive pages, layouts, map controls, and UI flows for investigative users
• Provide technical mentorship and peer reviews to junior developers

Data Engineering & Programming

• Architect and develop data processing pipelines using SAS Viya 3.5, SAS Studio, and SAS 9
• Optimize performance of SAS Macros, batch jobs, and rule engines
• Lead the design and implementation of data structures, modeling, and data quality processes
• Use SAS Enterprise Guide, SQL, and Python (basic/intermediate) for data manipulation, testing, and enrichment
• Ensure code quality, security, and documentation for long-term project scalability

The Expertise.

Experience & Background

• 8+ years in SAS development, with minimum 3 years focused on SAS Visual Investigator
• Proven experience in leading development or module ownership (not just operations or maintenance)
• Familiarity with Singapore government agencies or regulated industries (e.g., BFSI, defense, telco)
• Able to lead development sprints, manage task breakdowns, and ensure on-time delivery

Preferred Experience

• Strong background in fraud detection, risk analytics, or financial crime investigation
• Experience embedding SAS Visual Analytics dashboards inside SAS VI environments
• Deep understanding of investigative lifecycles and compliance workflows
• Skilled at translating system logic to non-technical users (auditors, regulators, case managers)

Additional Qualities We Value

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related field
• SAS certifications (e.g., Advanced Programming, SAS Viya) are a strong advantage
• Ownership mindset and ability to lead with minimal supervision
