Job description

Job Title: SAP Authorisations Support

Our client, one of South Africa's favourites, is looking for a SAP Authorisations Support to join their dynamic team for a contract.

Purpose: The purpose of this role is to provide first line SAP authorisations support across the group.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Resolution of SAP authorisation support calls within agreed SLAs.
  2. Administration of authorisation calls on CRM.
  3. Actioning SAP Share Point Access requests and calls logged on CRM (i.e., creating new users, assigning access, unlocking users, etc.).
  4. Responsibility for role testing in the QA system (i.e., drafting test scripts for UAT, creating new tester profiles, assigning access).
  5. Troubleshooting SAP authorisation errors.
  6. Running SAP access and GRC reports as required.
  7. Raising requests for changes on SAP Solution Manager.
  8. Any other ad hoc duties as required by management.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements
  1. A tertiary qualification within the finance or IT space.
  2. SAP - at least 3 years SAP ABAP authorisations experience is essential.
  3. Understanding of SAP objects and values in roles is critical.
  4. Knowledge of the different authorisation strategies is essential.
  5. SAP courses on authorisations is essential.
  6. Understanding the SAP 3 tier landscape is essential.
  7. SAP knowledge and experience in other SAP applications/modules preferable (e.g., BI / BW, Fiori, Solman).
  8. SAP GRC experience advantageous.
  9. Computer literacy MS Office.
  10. General business process knowledge advantageous and knowledge of finance is preferable.
