Job Purpose

To apply specialisation within multiple SAP projects and support and technical expertise that meets customer business needs by interacting with stakeholders to define requirements and priorities. Performs systems analysis, solution design, develop, supports and maintains SAP system. Drvies technical solution design, system integration, SAP architecture and landscape.

Job Responsibilities

• Authorization Design: Designing and implementing SAP authorization roles and profiles based on business requirements, ensuring the right level of access for each user.
• User Management: Creating, modifying, and deactivating user accounts within the SAP system as needed.
• Role and Profile Maintenance: Regularly reviewing and updating authorization roles and profiles to align with changing business needs and security standards.
• Security Compliance: Ensuring SAP security policies, standards, and best practices are followed to maintain data integrity and protect sensitive information.
• Audit and Monitoring: Monitoring user activities, reviewing logs, and conducting periodic security audits to identify and address potential security risks.
• Incident Response: Responding to and resolving authorization-related incidents, including investigating security breaches and unauthorized access.
• Collaboration: Collaborating with other IT and business teams to understand access requirements and ensure they are appropriately implemented in SAP systems.
• Troubleshooting: Troubleshooting authorization issues, including access denials and conflicts, and providing timely resolutions.
• Security Enhancement: Identifying opportunities to enhance SAP security and proposing improvements to access control mechanisms.
• Compliance Reporting: Generating and submitting compliance reports to demonstrate adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Stay Informed: Staying up-to-date with SAP security trends, vulnerabilities, and updates to proactively address security challenges.
• Play a critical role in safeguarding SAP systems and data from unauthorized access and ensuring compliance with Nedbank security standards.

Technical Knowledge

SAP authorisation , BW/4 Hana Security, SAP SuccessFactors Role Base Permission (RBP) ,SAP GRC 12, IAG and SAP solution Manager
SAP SuccessFactors ( EC) , SAP GRC 12 , SAP Identity Authentication (SAP IAS),SAP Identity Provisioning (SAP IPS)

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

• Professional Qualifications/Honour’s Degree
• Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees

Preferred Qualification

Bcom/IS/IT ENG/BSc/Com Science related degree

Preferred Certifications

Preferred certifies in more than multiple SAP module /ASAP certification

Minimum Experience Level

10 years plus SAP Functional experience
