PwC is looking for a Solution Architect to join our Cloud & Digital practice . A Solution Architect will lead projects from requirement and solution design phases and be responsible for the overall solution design. The architect will also provide oversight into the build phase of projects ensuring the technical quality and ensure the solution meets the business requirement, fulfils user stories and lead s the team through build, test and deployment phases.

The ideal candidate would have a strong SAP t echnical background and 8 + years proven experience in SAP cloud technology enabled business transformation projects and programmes .

Qualifications / Certifications required :

Bachelor equivalent: minimum requirement

8 + years of solution specialist (or equivalent customer facing) experience ; c onsulting experience beneficial

A thorough understanding of the full software development lifecycle is required.

Cloud experience recommended

SAP Certification , preferably SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP BTP.

Experience required:

More than 8 years of SAP implementation and/or solution design experience

Experience in designing and validating a complex architecture and ensuring its successful implementation

Ability to identify and challenge solution scenarios by taking the business environment into account

Provide recommendations and guidance on the SAP platform and tools

Strategically plan the solution landscape

Experience and extensive knowledge of SAP systems, including SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform and the required architecture and infrastructure to support them

Experience integrating SAP solutions into a broad array of technologies and architectures.

Functional/technical proficiency with at least 4+ full lifecycle SAP implementations

Understanding of SAP roadmap around Cloud products and how it integrates

Experience and knowledge of SAP system migration or upgrades

Knowledge of the business for which the solution architecture is being developed

Understanding of I T related technologies that enable digital transformation

Successful candidates must demonstrate experience in designing and implementing enterprise-wide SAP transformation that delivered proven business value

Previous experience in a consulting environment is beneficia l

Experience in Agile delivery in SAP projects.

Responsibilities of role:

Develop the architecture blueprint and ensure it is aligned with the IT strategy, organisation business requirements and target operating model of the client

Assess appropriate architecture fit and conformance with the client’s architecture principles and SAP best practice

Document reference architecture, principles, standards, and practices

Provide architectural guidance and support

Conduct impact analysis to identify areas that might need to change in information, application, and technology architecture

Define and document the integration requirements to accommodate the implementation of the S AP solution and related environments, and identify the appropriate future integration interfaces

Identify information needs and amend the relevant architectural environments to cater for changes relevant to the S AP solution and other relevant solutions’ implementation

Review pro ject requirements and ensure alignment between business and information technology goals and objectives

Provide guidance for pro ject deliverables, issues, processes, and risks as related to the architectural design

Participate in programme Design Authority forums.

Skill sets required :

• Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of SAP solutions, SAP architecture principles including Clean Core

• Cloud Platforms: Expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

• Data Integration: Experience with ETL processes and data integration techniques

• Data Governance: Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and regulatory compliance

• Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders

• Leadership: Ability to lead and mentor teams, providing technical guidance and support
