SAP MM Team Lead

OVERVIEW: The MM Lead is business-oriented and operates across the organization to ensure effective communication within upstream and downstream processes and teams.

This position functions within a broad community of practice that includes operational, technical, and change management groups. The MM Lead must successfully coordinate and align with the right stakeholders.

The role involves coaching within the information systems organization, acting as a consultant to other consultants.

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:

The SAP Materials Management (MM) Team Lead will lead and manage a team of SAP MM professionals to ensure successful implementation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP MM solutions.

This role requires strong leadership, deep technical expertise in SAP MM, and collaboration skills to optimize materials management processes. The MM Lead works closely with business decision-makers and end users to analyze information, document requirements, and map to SAP processes. They also support change management activities related to projects, upgrades, and enhancements, communicating benefits and promoting adoption.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:

• Internal: Information systems functional and technical teams, Global head of supply chain, Regional procurement officers, Subject matter experts, Senior operations managers
• External: System integrators, technology vendors, consultants

Qualifications:

• University degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
• SAP Certification

Experience:

• 8+ years' expertise in SAP S/4 HANA MM, Fiori apps, with at least 3 full cycle implementations
• Exposure to COUPA source-to-pay processes and integration with S/4 HANA
• Strong understanding of SAP MM integration with FI-CO, EAM, PS modules
• Experience in hybrid project/support environments
• Proven leadership in SAP MM projects from inception to post-go-live support
• Knowledge of data governance tools and IT Service Management principles (ITIL)
• Effective stakeholder management and cross-cultural communication skills
