SAP HCM Functional Consultant, People & Culture, DIO

To provide and manage functional support, configuration, and development on the global SAP HCM system, specializing in Personnel Administration (PA) and/or Organisational Management (OM). This role covers 23 countries, ensuring all system development and configuration align with the Standard Bank Global Template. The candidate will consult with stakeholders to deliver best practice, customer-centric solutions and lead development initiatives within Personnel Administration to meet key business requirements while maintaining system stability.

Qualifications

Diploma in Information Systems Studies / Technology.

Experience required

• Minimum 5–7 years' experience working on SAP HCM systems across Africa and internationally, with 3–4 years of specialist experience in HR processes.
• Extensive experience configuring SAP HCM, specifically for Personnel Administration and/or Organisational Management (OM) modules. Configuration experience in other SAP HCM modules is advantageous.
• Good understanding of integration between SAP HCM and third-party systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to coordinate tasks across teams.
• Proven expertise as a subject matter expert for Standard Bank's global SAP HCM solutions, providing advice to stakeholders.
• Ability to gather business requirements, analyze processes, and identify problems solvable through system development or changes.
• Experience managing and overseeing complex SAP HCM development projects, developing detailed end-to-end project plans to ensure standards in risk, quality, customer requirements, time, and cost are met.
• Ability to analyze, consult, and resolve complex development issues, making recommendations on feasibility and technical integration.
• Experience facilitating meetings and workshops with team members and stakeholders to track progress, manage issues, and gather input.
