Position: Senior SAP GRC Functional Consultant

Experience / Working Knowledge:

  1. API architecture and how it facilitates data flow between SAP and OPUS
  2. API concepts and protocols (REST, SOAP, etc)
  3. API integration and management
  4. Application of relevant IT best practices
  5. Business analysis and workflow design
  6. Data analysis and reporting
  7. Data management principles and practices
  8. Data management tools and software
  9. Database management and data integration
  10. Develop and follow systematic procedures
  11. Documenting functional and technical specifications
  12. Driving change
  13. Effective communication with SAP and OPUS teams
  14. Engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  15. ERP systems and their data flows
  16. IT Service Management principles and frameworks (ITIL 3)
  17. MS Office proficiency (Advanced Excel)
  18. OPUS or similar platform

Certifications / Qualifications:

  1. Tertiary IT degree / diploma
  2. TOGAF, Agile Methodologies (advantageous)
  3. COBIT, Prince II (advantageous)

Scope of Work:

  1. Configure and test risk management applications
  2. Troubleshooting and resolution of technical problems
  3. Write functional and test specifications, as well as training and testing material
  4. Provide user support and assistance for 3rd level incidents, and resolving business as usual issues aligned to operations and service processes
  5. Design and implement solutions based on business requirements which originate as change requests and/or projects
  6. Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of the OPUS platform
  7. Ensure data integrity and security within OPUS
  8. Implement updates and improvements as needed
  9. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
  10. Design and build workflows and checklists tailored to business needs
  11. Map out data flows and integration points within the workflows
  12. Ensure the workflows align with business objectives and compliance requirements
  13. Manage and maintain data within the OPUS platform
  14. Ensure data quality and consistency across workflows and checklists
  15. Develop data management policies and procedures
  16. Perform data analysis and generate reports as needed
  17. Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement and maintain API integrations
  18. Monitor and troubleshoot API issues and data flow problems
  19. Ensure data integrity and security in API transactions
  20. Collaborate with SAP and OPUS teams to ensure data alignment and integration
  21. Monitor and maintain the data flow between SAP HR / ECM and OPUS
  22. Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing data structures and integration
  23. Develop and implement troubleshooting procedures and protocols
  24. Document issues, solutions, and best practices
  25. Provide training and support to users on troubleshooting methods
  26. Conduct system testing, performance tuning, and troubleshooting during implementation and post-go-live support
  27. Participate in project planning, estimation, and scoping activities
  28. Make recommendations to optimize processes, policies and procedures
  29. Identify suitable solutions to new and existing business requirements (changes and projects), and ensure effective resolution of problems and incidents
  30. Stay updated with the latest features and industry trends
