Position: Senior SAP GRC Functional Consultant
Experience / Working Knowledge:
- API architecture and how it facilitates data flow between SAP and OPUS
- API concepts and protocols (REST, SOAP, etc)
- API integration and management
- Application of relevant IT best practices

- Data analysis and reporting
- Data management principles and practices

Certifications / Qualifications:
- Tertiary IT degree / diploma
- TOGAF, Agile Methodologies (advantageous)
- COBIT, Prince II (advantageous)
Scope of Work:
- Configure and test risk management applications
- Troubleshooting and resolution of technical problems
- Write functional and test specifications, as well as training and testing material
- Provide user support and assistance for 3rd level incidents, and resolving business as usual issues aligned to operations and service processes
- Design and implement solutions based on business requirements which originate as change requests and/or projects
- Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of the OPUS platform
- Ensure data integrity and security within OPUS
- Implement updates and improvements as needed
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
- Design and build workflows and checklists tailored to business needs
- Map out data flows and integration points within the workflows
- Ensure the workflows align with business objectives and compliance requirements
- Manage and maintain data within the OPUS platform
- Ensure data quality and consistency across workflows and checklists
- Develop data management policies and procedures
- Perform data analysis and generate reports as needed
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement and maintain API integrations
- Monitor and troubleshoot API issues and data flow problems
- Ensure data integrity and security in API transactions
- Collaborate with SAP and OPUS teams to ensure data alignment and integration
- Monitor and maintain the data flow between SAP HR / ECM and OPUS
- Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing data structures and integration
- Develop and implement troubleshooting procedures and protocols
- Document issues, solutions, and best practices
- Provide training and support to users on troubleshooting methods
- Conduct system testing, performance tuning, and troubleshooting during implementation and post-go-live support
- Participate in project planning, estimation, and scoping activities
- Make recommendations to optimize processes, policies and procedures
- Identify suitable solutions to new and existing business requirements (changes and projects), and ensure effective resolution of problems and incidents
