Job description

Job Title: SAP MM Functional Consultant

We are currently recruiting for an SAP MM Functional Consultant responsible for configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical problems.

Required Experience:

1. 5+ years of SAP design and configuration experience
2. 2+ years of Agile experience (e.g., sprint planning, stand-up)
3. Experience in preparing business cases and understanding business processes
4. Functional knowledge of SAP MM and integration with other SAP modules (WM, Master Data)
5. Knowledge of IT best practices, development concepts, guidelines, and SAP architecture
6. Knowledge of IT Service Management principles (ITIL 3)
7. Knowledge of Project & Program management methodologies and tools
8. Knowledge of retail industry models, retail merchandising processes, and retail SAP architecture
9. Knowledge of SAP Master Data module
10. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Visio
11. Ability to work with business process owners to understand requirements and design solutions

Certifications / Qualifications:

• 3-year IT-related degree (advantageous)
• Certified in ITIL 3 (required)
• Certifications in COBIT, Prince II, TOGAF, Agile methodologies (advantageous)

Scope of Work:

The SAP MM Functional Consultant is responsible for:

1. Writing functional and test specifications, and preparing training and testing materials
2. Providing user support and resolving business issues
3. Assisting with business case development and ensuring documentation is signed off
4. Participating in Change Advisory Boards (CABs)
5. Communicating change and transition plans
6. Conducting troubleshooting and testing
7. Implementing continuous improvement initiatives
8. Creating testing scenarios and scripts
9. Maintaining documentation and processes
10. Designing and implementing regression testing
11. Ensuring best practice configuration and compliance
12. Managing system changes and releases
13. Adhering to service levels and managing system administration
14. Participating in project and transition teams
15. Providing consultation and training to business and IT teams
16. Evaluating project designs and risks
17. Supporting audit processes and maintaining knowledge bases
