SAP Functional Consultant: Material Management

About the Company: We are seeking a motivated and dedicated SAP MM Functional Consultant to provide user support, assist with 3rd level incidents, and resolve business-as-usual issues aligned with operations and service processes.

About the Role: The SAP MM Functional Consultant is responsible for configuring and testing SAP Material Management functions and modules, troubleshooting, and resolving technical problems.

The responsibilities include:

1. Writing functional and test specifications, and developing training and testing materials.
2. Recommending optimizations for SAP Material Management processes, policies, and procedures.
3. Adhering to all IT Governance Frameworks including policies, procedures, processes, and standards.
4. Identifying solutions for new and existing business requirements, ensuring effective resolution of problems and incidents.
5. Producing portfolio and status reports aligned with communication plans for stakeholders.
6. Updating and maintaining known error databases, knowledge bases, configuration databases, testing, and training materials, along with implementing continuous improvement plans.
7. Managing and developing oneself to meet individual and team objectives.

Qualifications:

• 3-year IT-related degree (Essential)
• Certified in ITIL 3 (Required)
• 3 years of SAP design and configuration experience
• 2 years of Agile experience (e.g., sprint planning, stand-up)

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of Retail SAP architecture, implementation, and operations
• Functional knowledge of SAP MM and integration with other SAP modules (WM, Master Data)
• Knowledge of development concepts, guidelines, and SAP architecture
• Understanding of IT Service Management principles and frameworks (ITIL 3)
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially advanced Excel and VISIO
