About the role
Join Capitec in revolutionizing compensation management with world-class SAP systems and processes! Collaborate with a top-tier HR team to enhance role-based permissions and streamline HR processes.
As a key member of the HR Systems team, you’ll be responsible for end-to-end configuration and functional support of SAP SuccessFactors, with a core focus on the Compensation module and Role-Based Permissions (RBP). You’ll collaborate closely with business stakeholders and HR experts to ensure robust, secure, and scalable solutions that support our people strategy.
Our ideal candidate has:
- A strong track record in SAP SuccessFactors functional consulting – Compensation and RBP experience essential
- Minimum 3–5 years hands-on configuration experience in multiple SuccessFactors modules
- SAP SuccessFactors certifications (especially Compensation and/or Employee Central) preferred
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, interpret business needs, and deliver system-based solutions
- Exposure to HR business processes, security, and compliance requirements within enterprise environments
What You’ll Do
- Configure, enhance and support SuccessFactors Compensation, ensuring accurate implementation of incentive structures, team awards, bonus schemes and salary planning processes.
- Serve as the go-to expert for Role-Based Permissions (RBP) — driving access management, security roles, and authorizations in line with compliance and data privacy requirements.
- Partner with HR teams to optimize processes across Employee Central, Time Off, and related modules.
- Translate business requirements into effective system solutions, applying best practices and maintaining alignment with SAP standards.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements, release management, testing, documentation, and user support.
Purpose Statement- To provide functional expertise in SAP processes including execution of configuration and deployment within the a specific functional area. Responsible for end user support and assistance for 2nd and 3rd level incidents to address business as usual technical issues aligned to operations and service processes.
ExperienceMin/Ideal:
- 4 + years' SAP SuccessFactors funtional consulting-COmpensation and RBP experience (preferred SAP Certification)
- 2 years + agile experience and knowledge of Jira
- Working with business process owners in understanding business requirements and solution design
- Experience in documenting functional and technical specifications
- Experience in Stakeholder Management
- SAP Project Implementation experience would be advantageous
- S4 HANA Functional experience and Fiori
Qualifications (Minimum)- Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Information Technology - Computer Science
KnowledgeMin/Ideal:
- Knowledge and application of relevant IT best practices
- Knowledge of IT Service Management principles and frameworks (ITIL 4)
- Knowledge of Project Management methods
- MS Office Proficiency
- Understanding of SAP authorisations within the SAP Functional area
