SAP FI Principal Consultant - Senior Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Finance (FI) expert to join as a SAP FI Principal Consultant - Senior Manager.

The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of experience in SAP FI within the financial services industry and a proven record of delivering complex SAP FI projects. They should be a K5 SAP Consultant with Tier 1 consulting experience, responsible for leading SAP FI solution development and implementation, including Chart of Accounts simplification, hierarchies, and master data management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. SAP FI Strategy and Implementation: Develop and execute SAP FI strategies, lead design and implementation, and collaborate with stakeholders for requirements gathering and feedback.
2. Chart of Accounts Simplification: Conduct analysis, develop proposals for simplification, and present solutions for approval.
3. Hierarchy Simplification: Analyze and plan hierarchy reductions, implement changes with proper documentation.
4. Master Data Management: Review requirements, influence solution design for MDG and SAP Stack, and align specifications.
5. Data Quality Improvement: Identify root causes, develop solutions, and achieve a 20% data remediation target by October 20.
6. Stakeholder Management: Maintain relationships, gather requirements, and provide updates.
7. Team Leadership: Mentor junior staff, foster collaboration, and ensure project success.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 15 years' experience in SAP FI within financial services.
• K5 SAP Consultant certification and Tier 1 consulting background.
• Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in SAP ERP, S/4HANA, SAP MDG, and data analysis tools such as SAP BI.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Behavioral Competencies: Practical problem-solving, stakeholder persuasion, documentation, data analysis, creative thinking, feedback engagement, and teamwork.

Success Measures: Clean-up of Chart of Accounts and hierarchies to support decision-making, and achieving 20% data remediation.
