Provide functional expertise in the area of SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling with strong focus on the General Ledger, Fixed Assets and Profitability Analysis.
- Provide functional & technical expertise on the SAP financial modules.
- Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP Financials – focus on financial functionality provisioned in SAP solution (Template).
- Maintenance of a sound production SAP environment.
- Design, customize, configure and test FI / CO module changes.
- Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyse, and solve software problems.
- Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.
- Contribute to the quality standards and continuous improvement of the SAP business processes.
- Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements to define scope and effort estimations.
- Create relevant project and BAU documentation in accordance to EBS documentation standards.
- This will include documents such as BRS, FDS, CDD, Test Scripts, Training documentation.
- For BRS documents, assess the scope and nature of requirement to be able to estimate effort required to implement change.
- Create and maintain training documentation if required.
- Provide ad-hoc training as required.
- Ensure and engender knowledge sharing/transfer to End-users.
- Participate in cross-functional knowledge sharing amongst the Finance consulting team, and other teams if applicable.
- Use and update of Solution Manager, SMAX or any other call monitoring system used in the recording and monitoring of calls.
- Ensuring call resolution within prescribed SLA's.
- Engage with customers regularly ensuring requirements and service levels are met.
- Ensure system integrity around logistics related financial transactions.
- Over and above existing support requests and incidents, have concurrent involvement in stand-alone SAP projects.
- This includes being involved in all project phases from scoping through to implementation and post go-live support.
- Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
- Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members.
- Support the SAP ICMR solution & relevant SAP FIORI Apps.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or Accounting.
SAP Certification.

Minimum 6 years experience.
