SAP ERP Platform Manager - Automotive Industry (Hybrid, Gauteng)

Are you ready to drive innovation in the automotive industry? Our client is seeking a SAP ERP Platform Manager to lead the management and optimization of their SAP landscape. This hybrid role based in Gauteng offers a balance of flexibility and impact.

Responsibilities include:

1. Planning, managing, and coordinating tasks with relevant teams to ensure quality, timeliness, and accuracy.
2. Ensuring systems are security compliant.
3. Managing annual penetration testing exercises and remediating findings.
4. Performing security remediation and impact analysis on SAP Security Notes.
5. Providing guidance on SAP Security profile parameters and analysis.
6. Working within a multi-project environment.
7. Evaluating and remediating penetration test findings with Platform Managers.
8. Maintaining systems on BMW standard software levels.
9. Sharing knowledge and supporting team development.
10. Implementing security features for SAP S/4HANA systems.
11. Supporting functional teams with security issues and solutions.
12. Demonstrating expertise in SAP Application Security.
13. Supporting audit and compliance activities.
14. Willingness and ability to travel internationally.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 8 years of BASIS experience.
2. Proven experience in SAP system security hardening.
3. Strong understanding of SAP security concepts, tools, and technologies.
4. Experience monitoring security breaches and testing vulnerabilities.
5. Maintaining security posture for SAP S/4HANA and enterprise applications.
6. Understanding of IT industry environment and business needs.
7. Excellent understanding of business processes.

Additional responsibilities may include tasks outlined in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter. Skills in SAP FICO, module configuration, system integration, testing, and business process analysis are advantageous.
