Job summary

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience, excellent skills in SAP installations, performance tuning, and cloud environments, particularly AWS. Certifications in SAP technologies are required.

Job Description

Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Basis Administrator to support the technical administration of our client’s SAP landscape. This includes the upgrade from SAP ECC6 to S / 4HANA (RISE Private Cloud) and the implementation of supporting systems such as SuccessFactors , GRC , and Ariba .

The role will be responsible for the installation, configuration, upgrade, monitoring, and performance optimization of SAP environments across DEV , QA , and PROD landscapes, ensuring system stability, security, and availability.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform technical administration and support across the SAP landscape (S / 4HANA, HANA DB, NetWeaver, etc.).

Execute system installations, upgrades, patches , and configurations in line with SAP best practices.

Monitor system performance and implement performance tuning and optimization.

Administer SAP transport management , user management , and system monitoring activities.

Manage SAP systems hosted on cloud platforms , particularly AWS , ensuring cloud readiness and efficiency.

Ensure effective backup and recovery procedures , including high-availability and disaster recovery planning.

Support SAP security administration including roles, authorizations, and compliance controls.

Work across multi-tiered environments (DEV, QA, PROD) and collaborate with cross-functional teams (technical, infrastructure, and application teams).

Contribute to ongoing Basis process improvement and standardization efforts.

Minimum Requirements :

5+ years of experience as an SAP Basis Administrator .

Successfully delivered at least three (3) full-cycle SAP implementations in a Basis role.

Hands-on experience with :

SAP S / 4HANA

SAP HANA Database

SAP NetWeaver

Strong background in system installation, configuration, performance tuning, patching , and troubleshooting .

Experience managing SAP systems in cloud environments (AWS preferred) .

Proficient in transport management , user administration , and system monitoring tools.

Working knowledge of SAP high-availability configurations , backup / recovery , and DR strategies .

Familiar with SAP security concepts , including user roles, profiles, and authorizations.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.

Required Certification (at least one of the following) :

SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP HANA Cloud

SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP S / 4HANA System Administration

SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP Integration Suite
