Our client is looking for a SAP ABAP Consultant to join their expert feature team developing and enhancing Vehicle Invoicing solutions for a global automotive leader.

Location : Midrand / Menlyn / Rosslyn / Home Office rotation

COMMENCEMENT : 01 May 2025

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE :

Relevant IT / Business Degree or Certifications

8 years experience

ESSENTIAL SKILLS :

SAP S / 4HANA ABAP

SAP S / 4HANA Modelling

SAP S / 4HANA UI5 Development

Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS :

Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) with both technical and nontechnical colleagues / users

Strong ability to understand and interpret business needs and requirements with an aptitude to move concepts through to proposal and successful implementation

Jira and Confluence experience

Strong interpersonal communication & presentation skills

Selfmotivated and keen attention to detail / time management

Flexibility to take up different tasks in the project

ROLE :

Development and maintenance on platform / application

Review and present proposed system solution to IT Project Manager / Leader and User Management or System owner

Develop systems solutions in line with quality and delivery requirements

Preparation of system / technical documentation (as per ISO standards)

Meet with end users and gather requirements

Facilitate daily standups

Ability and willingness to coach and give training to fellow colleagues and users when required

User training

Compiling of user and operational manuals

System audits

User sign off

Understanding of integration between different technologies

Coordination between development and support environments

Assisting with the business case

Planning and monitoring

Eliciting requirements

Requirements organisation

Translating and simplifying requirements

Requirements management and communication

Requirements analysis

Document requirements in appropriate format depending on methodology followed

Assist with identification and management of risks
