Placements24 seeks an experienced Sanitation Supervisor to lead cleaning operations across commercial and industrial sites in and around Welkom. You will manage a team, enforce sanitation protocols, and optimize resource use in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

The ideal candidate has proven leadership, deep knowledge of sanitation procedures and industrial cleaning equipment, and the ability to train staff, maintain records, and respond quickly to issues while upholding safety and hygiene

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sanitation Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation procedures and industrial cleaning equipment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Willingness to relocate to the Welkom area.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and train cleaning staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to company policies.
• Develop and implement effective daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules for assigned areas.
• Conduct regular quality control checks and inspections to ensure sanitation standards are met and exceeded.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment, including ordering and stock control.
• Respond promptly to any cleaning-related issues or emergencies, ensuring swift resolution.
• Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, cleaning activities, supply usage, and maintenance requests.
