Job summary

Placements24 is assisting a client in Rustenburg to recruit a meticulous Sanitation Specialist to uphold the highest hygiene standards in manufacturing and processing environments. The role blends hands-on duties with oversight and requires developing sanitation plans.

You will train and supervise a small team, ensure HACCP/GMP compliance, manage cleaning chemicals, and balance on-site presence with planning and reporting tasks performed remotely.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of sanitation experience, preferably in a food processing or manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitation equipment, and best practices.
• Experience with HACCP, GMP, or other quality and safety management systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain sanitation programs and SOPs.
• Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
