Salesforce, Technical Lead

As the Salesforce Developer and Tech lead, your primary responsibility will be to lead the team on designing, building, and implementing customised solutions on the platform. Your expertise in Salesforce development languages and technologies, as well as your ability to lead a team, will enable you to deliver custom and/or out-of-the-box solutions that enhance productivity, streamline processes, and drive innovation within the Salesforce ecosystem for Insurance.

This role will have day-to-day management of our Salesforce technical team, onshore and offshore. You'll oversee programmatic elements, integration, data migration, and we'll need you to have a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, and basic to intermediate understanding of integrations, single sign-on, security, etc. (Mulesoft, IBM Connect, etc.). You'll coordinate design elements with a Solution Architect and Project Manager. You'll lead development of customised components, so we're looking for candidates who can get their hands dirty and jump in and write code if necessary (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, front-end web technologies).

• 5+ years Salesforce experience
• Salesforce Developer certifications
• Experience in managing a development team.

• Combination of business analysis and technology implementation experience

• Proficiency in Salesforce development languages like Apex and Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL).
• Knowledge of platform limits, governor limits, and best practices for efficient code development
• Experience with Salesforce integration techniques, including REST and SOAP APIs.
• Strong skills in problem-solving and debugging.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
