Job description

We’re seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer with MuleSoft expertise to design, develop, and integrate scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Salesforce solutions (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows) to meet business requirements.
• Design and implement MuleSoft integrations between Salesforce and internal/external systems (e.g., Core Banking, ERP).
• Optimize API performance, security, and scalability (REST/SOAP, RAML).
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in alignment with Absa’s IT governance.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specs.
• Document architecture, code, and deployment processes.

Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory:

• 5+ years of Salesforce development (Sales Cloud/Service Cloud).
• 3+ years of MuleSoft experience (Anypoint Platform, API-led connectivity).
• Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, JavaScript, and Lightning Web Components.
• Strong knowledge of integration patterns, ETL, and middleware best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Copado, Jenkins) and version control (Git).
• Familiarity with banking/financial systems (preferred but not mandatory).

Certifications (Preferred):

• Salesforce Platform Developer I/II.
• MuleSoft Certified Developer.
