Job description

Our client in the Financial Services space is seeking a Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and Experience Cloud Back End Developer.

The Salesforce FSC Back End Developer will specialize in building and customizing applications on the Salesforce platform, specifically tailored for Financial Services Cloud and Experience Cloud. This role involves a mix of coding, configuration, and integration tasks, making it a highly versatile and sought-after position.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Salesforce development.
  • Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Visualforce.
  • Platform Developer certifications preferred.
  • JavaScript certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with Community Cloud development is advantageous.
  • Expertise in Lightning Design System and Lightning Web Components.
  • Proficient in Salesforce development tools such as Salesforce CLI (DX IDE), migration tools, SOSL, SOQL, web services, App Builder, and Experience Builder.
  • Knowledge of business process analysis and CRM systems.
  • Excellent English and technical writing skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and development tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
  • Understanding of DevOps and IT systems development processes (SDLC).
  • Ability to perform code reviews and maintain high standards for code quality and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Custom application development using Apex and Lightning Web Components.
  • Manage and manipulate data within Salesforce, including designing data models and writing complex queries.
  • Build and maintain integrations with third-party services using Mulesoft APIs.
  • Configure the Salesforce platform to align with business processes.
  • Troubleshoot issues, debug code, and provide ongoing support.
  • Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions.
  • Participate in the technical design of Experience Cloud features.
  • Document technical solutions and development processes.
  • Develop, test, and document integrations and data migration elements.
  • Follow coding standards and participate in code reviews.
  • Provide estimates and work breakdown structures.
  • Continuously learn about new Salesforce features and industry best practices.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
