Job description

To ensure the collection, analysis, and reporting of sales-related data in an ongoing effort to increase overall sales productivity, profitability, and support to the sales team.

Development and tracking of sales metrics to improve decision-making. To provide analytical services to Butcheries, Supply Chain, and Production.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Finance.

A degree in Supply Chain or Logistics is an advantage.

1. Collection, Analysis & Reporting

  • Advanced use of statistical analysis tools/applications
  • Provide sales reporting and analysis to monitor performance

  • Channel data analysis, product movement, customer and consumer purchase data, and behavior
  • Interpret data to derive strategic insights

3. Trade Marketing

  • Develop and implement National Promotions calendar aligned with marketing campaigns
  • Track and report on promotion results
  • Support Retail Activation efforts
  • Manage branding and activations in informal channels
  • Handle trade marketing deliverables such as trade presentations and product catalogs

4. Pricing Strategies

  • Cost-Plus Pricing: Monitor costs and ensure pricing covers costs and achieves margins, with periodic adjustments
  • Competitive Pricing: Align prices with market competitors to ensure value proposition
  • Promotional Pricing: Analyze short-term discounts and bundling offers for their impact on sales and brand equity
