The Role: As a Sales Team Leader, you'll start by building and managing your own client base through cold calling small to medium-sized businesses. Once you master our sales process, you'll train and mentor new hires while maintaining your own book of business.

What You'll Do:

  1. Build Your Business: Develop and maintain a portfolio of clients, engaging with employees and decision-makers.
  2. Inspire and Train: Lead in-field training to motivate new recruits.
  3. Mentor and Coach: Guide new sales reps with personalized coaching and support.
  4. Connect and Build Relationships: Foster strong connections with clients and team members.

Overview of Duties and Responsibilities: We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Outside Sales Leader to join our team. This role involves working within your designated sales territory, engaging with small and medium-sized businesses across various industries. You will be trained to meet face-to-face with business owners and key decision-makers to offer some of the industry's finest supplemental insurance products and services to their employees. The position includes business-to-business cold calling as an essential component of your sales strategy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responding to general emails and phone calls from clients
  • Setting follow-up appointments with prospective and current clients
  • Participating in scheduled calls or meetings with your sales team or manager
  • Calling on new businesses, referrals, and existing clients
  • Building and maintaining your own book of business
  • Setting your own working hours and submitting them weekly
  • Submitting sales metrics and activity daily
