ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales & Systems Control Analyst engages with stakeholders across the ghd SA organization, taking an end-to-end approach to sales data and systems, that includes: collecting, interpreting and analyzing sales data; finding innovative ways to solve problems; improve processes, and add value; whilst maintaining and providing support to ghd SA’s I.T. and CRM systems.

REQUIREMENTS

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creating comprehensive and meaningful reports, utilizing Power BI to derive concrete measures and recommendations for action
  • Transforming complex data sets into understandable and actionable objectives.
  • Develop tracking, monitoring, and measuring approaches to plot and report on measured outcomes.
  • Support the Management Team by extracting data from Business Intelligence Systems to provide regular reports and updated dashboards relating to key customers, team target tracking, category performance, with daily, monthly & ad hoc reporting.
  • Planning and monitoring sales performance by channel and category.
  • Develop dashboards and visual reports to communicate insights effectively.
  • Proactively support the team by presenting monthly sales data, conducting in-depth analyses that enrich the sales department with valuable ideas and providing data-driven insights.
  • CRM Management and implementation, ensuring CRM systems are effectively updated and used to track sales activities and customer relationships.
  • Facilitate interactions between end users and I.T. Business Partners to improve business efficiencies and systems.
  • Conduct research and analysis to provide solutions to business barriers and assist in introducing new systems to businesses.
  • Provide technical support for systems and networks.
  • Foster a culture of creativity and excellence.
  • Role model and champion the 5Cs framework.

ESSENTIAL

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Power BI and Excel
  • Successfully completed a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Economics or Data Science
  • Analytical skills with a natural affinity for numbers
  • Min 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrates drive, ability to juggle multiple projects and work in an agile way
  • Highly adaptable to change, with the ability to work autonomously and work well within a team.
  • Entrepreneurial and results-orientated mindset.
  • Accuracy and detail orientated
  • Ability to work under pressure within deadlines with excellent organisational and time management
  • Committed to quality and continuous improvement.
