Sales Support Position
A dynamic partner to the Food and Beverage industry is looking for a Sales Support to join their team.
We are searching for a candidate who understands the importance of providing excellent customer service.
The successful candidate must possess strong verbal and written communication skills and present a professional image of the company.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the call center department.
- Develop strategies to increase sales and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Monitor and evaluate call center performance, ensuring high-quality customer service and adherence to company policies.
- Train, coach, and motivate call center staff to achieve individual and team goals.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technology advancements.
- Assist representatives with queries regarding orders.
- Pull Sales Support Reports for agent commissions.
- Support sales and supplier events as needed.
- Manage all responsibilities related to the Sales Support department and report line.
- Delegate tasks among Sales Support agents.
- Train new sales support agents.
- Oversee and assist in managing queries and complaints.
- Ensure timely placement of all orders before delivery cut-offs.
- Follow procedures to ensure departmental efficiency.
- Manage the credit application forms tracker and facilitate communication between Sales and Accounts departments.
- Allocate incoming leads and potential clients.
- Maintain the Sales Support Call Cycle.
- Manage the stock room and ensure stock availability.
- Distribute trip sheets to reps.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Call Center Manager or similar role in a sales environment.
- Experience with Pastel, call center software, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong negotiation skills to enhance sales performance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple priorities.
