A premium communication and surveillance solutions equipment supplier based in Cape Town seeks the above to be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring their needs are met, and promoting the company's products or services. The Sales Account Manager plays a pivotal role in driving revenue and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate must be results-driven and embody the company's values.

Duties & Responsibilities
Minimum requirements for the role :
  • Minimum Grade 12 is essential.
  • At least 5 years of sales experience in a similar environment.
  • The successful candidate must be results-driven and align with the company's values.
  • Strong understanding of the company's products/services.
  • Excellent communication skills for team and client interactions, both written and verbal, presented clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to manage client expectations and build long-term relationships.
  • Understanding of how one's role fits within the company's structure and policies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and email communication.
The successful candidate will be responsible for :
  • Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring their needs are met, and promoting the company's products/services.
  • Driving revenue and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively identifying and addressing client needs.
  • Researching potential clients, arranging sales calls, presenting solutions, and closing sales.
  • Maintaining contact with existing clients, meeting their needs, and upselling or cross-selling solutions.
  • Preparing quotations, proposals, and tender documentation tailored to client requirements.
  • Advising clients on optimal solutions for their applications.
  • Providing weekly sales forecasts to the Sales Manager.
  • Compiling statistics on lost and won deals.
  • Coordinating with deployment to ensure timely implementation per client specifications.
  • Following up post-deployment to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Following up on initial payments after order confirmation.
  • Participating in safety plan development and review.

Salary package including benefits is highly negotiable depending on experience.
