We are seeking a results-driven Building Supplier Sales Representative with proven experience in the building materials industry, specifically in clay brick products. The ideal candidate must have a strong network and a successful track record of calling on hardware retail outlets and building lasting client relationships. This role is key in driving sales, expanding market share, and representing our brand in the construction and retail sectors.
Call on and maintain relationships with hardware retail stores, builders merchants, and construction companies
Promote and sell clay brick products and other building materials to existing and new customers
Conduct regular store visits to ensure product visibility and support merchandising efforts
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in target areas
Provide product knowledge and technical support to clients
Negotiate pricing and manage orders, deliveries, and follow-ups
Track sales performance and report regularly to management
Stay up to date on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
Minimum 35 years sales experience in the building materials or hardware retail sector
Proven experience working with clay bricks (sales or technical knowledge)
Strong existing network within hardware retail and building supply stores
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently and travel extensively within assigned regions
Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle
Strong organizational and reporting skills
