Stryker is seeking a Sales Representative for Sports Medicine in Cape Town. This field-based role covers the Cape Town territory with travel about 80%.

You will build partnerships with healthcare customers, drive growth opportunities, and close deals by combining clinical knowledge with commercial acumen. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or diploma and at least 2 years in medical device sales, with strong English communication and a willingness to travel.

Summary :

Make an impact by helping healthcare customers access Stryker Sports Medicine solutions that support their clinical needs. In this field-based sales role, you will own territory performance, develop trusted customer partnerships, and combine commercial insight with product and procedural knowledge to identify and close growth opportunities.

What you will do :

• Drive sales performance across your assigned Cape Town territory or account base, prioritizing opportunities and working towards agreed sales targets.
• Develop daily, weekly and monthly territory plans using customer, market and pipeline insights to grow existing business and identify new opportunities.
• Execute the end-to-end sales process by identifying customer needs, positioning appropriate Stryker solutions, preparing compliant pricing proposals, addressing objections and closing opportunities.
• Build trusted relationships with customers and relevant stakeholders by delivering on commitments and providing timely, professional support.
• Provide accurate product, procedural and clinical information based on approved training and materials, including case and after-sales support where applicable.
• Coordinate with indirect sales partners where applicable, providing product and commercial guidance, supporting training and participating in joint customer activities.
• Collaborate with managers, peers and cross‑functional partners to address customer needs and execute territory priorities effectively.
• Share product and sales knowledge with colleagues and support onboarding or mentoring activities when required.

What you will need :

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the medical device industry.
• Knowledge of the medical device environment and medical device regulations.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
