This role involves promoting and selling Medtronic's products and services within the Limpopo province to meet or exceed sales targets. The successful candidate will manage and build relationships with healthcare professionals and stock controllers, ensuring excellent customer engagement and satisfaction. The candidate must reside in Polokwane, Limpopo, to effectively cover the assigned territory. This role provides a temporary contract for 6 months.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Develop and maintain customer relationships, including new customer acquisition, within Limpopo province
  • Implement sales strategies to achieve individual sales targets
  • Promote and educate stakeholders on Medtronic's products and services
  • Provide customer feedback on products to internal teams
  • Manage consignment stock and ensure accurate tracking and replenishment
  • Handle order management processes with hospitals, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
  • Support account management and develop market development strategies

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Basic anatomy knowledge will be advantageous
  • Ability to work closely with supervisors while maintaining relationships with clients
  • Follows standard sales practices with opportunities to recommend tactical changes
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills for client interactions and presentations
  • Previous medical sales experience will be advantageous
