Sales Representative - Pinetown

Our client is a leading supplier in the rubber industry, specializing in the retail of industrial rubber products including hoses, seals, belts, mats, gaskets, and custom solutions for a diverse customer base.

Their clientele ranges from manufacturing plants and automotive businesses to construction and agricultural firms.

With a strong national footprint and a solid reputation for reliability, product expertise, and technical service, they are now seeking a highly capable Sales Representative to oversee one of their key retail branches based in Pinetown. The successful candidate will join as a Technical Sales Representative to help expand their client base while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, referrals, and online research.
  2. Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.

  4. Consistently meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
  5. Offer exceptional after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.

  9. Prepare and present detailed sales reports to management.
Experience and Requirements
  1. Minimum of 3 years in sales or a related field.
  2. Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion abilities.
  3. Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  4. A self-starter with a proactive mindset, a 'can-do' attitude, and a passion for delivering results.
  5. Team player.
  6. Excellent at establishing and maintaining long-term client relationships.
  7. Highly organized with the ability to manage a pipeline of clients efficiently.
  8. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in Afrikaans and English.
  9. Must have a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
  10. Experience in the rubber industry is beneficial but not compulsory.
  11. Based in Durban / Pinetown and surrounds.
