Job description

A well-established and reputable company is seeking a Receptionist / Office Administrator to join their team. If you are organised, detail-oriented, and take pride in delivering excellent front-line customer service, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Warmly greet and welcome all visitors in a professional manner
  2. Handle incoming calls: answer, screen, and direct them efficiently
  3. Manage all mail and deliveries, both incoming and outgoing
  4. Keep the reception area tidy, organized, and presentable
  5. Perform general clerical and admin duties: filing, photocopying, data entry
  6. Order and manage office supplies and equipment
  7. Coordinate and prepare meeting room bookings
  8. Provide basic admin support to HR and Finance teams when required
  9. Maintain accurate records and handle confidential documents securely
  10. Assist in planning and organizing internal events or meetings
Requirements:
  1. Matric (Grade 12)
  2. Tertiary qualification in Office or Business Administration (advantageous)
  3. At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  4. Familiarity with office equipment (printers, switchboards, scanners)
  5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  6. Well-groomed, professional appearance with a friendly attitude
  7. Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  8. Able to multitask and perform well under pressure
  9. High attention to detail and accuracy
  10. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
