  • Provide excellent customer service to liquor stores, shebeens, and restaurants.
  • Achieve prescribed SKU distribution in shebeens and restaurants.
  • Identify category gaps for both clients and competitors.
  • Ensure products are clearly visible to consumers.
  • Maintain consistent product pricing through regular audits and compliance checks.
  • Ensure client POS is installed according to guidelines.
  • Follow up on unfulfilled orders placed by Spaza shops.
  • Understand sales targets and develop sales plans.

Job Summary :

To ensure effective merchandising of clients’ products at store level and to ensure that call cycles are maintained, i.e., the number of liquor stores, shebeens, and restaurants within specified time frequencies.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables :

Callage and Coverage -

  • Ensure that call cycles are maintained, i.e., the number of liquor stores, shebeens, and restaurants within specified time frequencies.

Relationship Building -

  • Provide excellent customer service to liquor stores, shebeens, and restaurants.

On Shelf Availability -

  • Achieve prescribed SKU distribution in shebeens and restaurants.
  • Identify category gaps for both clients and competitors.
  • Identify opportunities to increase client products at liquor stores and restaurants.

Innovation -

  • Ensure products are clearly visible to consumers.
  • Ensure quick shelf placement for innovative SKUs.

Pricing Compliance -

  • Maintain consistent product pricing through regular audits and compliance checks.
  • Identify and flag anomalies immediately.

Point of Sale Implementation –

  • Ensure client POS is installed according to guidelines.

Order Management

  • Follow up on unfulfilled orders placed by Spaza shops.
  • Assist liquor stores, shebeens, and restaurants with order-related queries.

Sales

  • Understand sales targets.
  • Break down targets and develop sales plans to achieve them.
  • Display entrepreneurial mentality to increase sales and distribution at liquor shops, shebeens, and restaurants.
