The company wishes to employ a Sales Representative for Neonatal Division based in Cape Town. The successful incumbent will be responsible for sales of Neonatal equipment and consumables in the Western Cape.
This position will be based in Brackenfell, Cape Town, reporting to the Sales Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Servicing existing accounts, obtaining orders, and establishing new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential customers.
- Meeting sales goals and targets.
- Delivering competent sales presentations to customers.
- Keeping management informed by submitting activity and results reports such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
- Entering all customer interactions and sales leads into CRM.
- Monitoring competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, etc.
- Maintaining customer satisfaction at all times.
- Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
- Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, establishing networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Providing historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
- Being prepared to work after hours and on weekends when necessary for product training or attending congresses.
Requirements
Minimum requirements:
- Grade 12
- A nursing background with experience in Paediatrics / Neonatal care
- Valid Driver's license and reliable transport
- South African Citizen
Necessary skills and qualifications:
- Presentable and professional individual
- Team Player
- A recognized course in sales and marketing (advantageous)
- Valid Matric Certificate
- At least 2 years experience in sales, preferably in the medical industry
- Knowledge of the sales territory and customer base (advantageous)
- Effective communication skills (oral and written)
- Computer Literacy
- Ability to build customer relationships
