About the job: Sales Representative - KZN Only

R38,000.00 cost to company (Medical, RA, Vehicle allowance with a quarter incentive target achievement-based model)

Our client is seeking a sales representative with at least 3 years of related sales experience in an FMCG company. The key responsibility is to maximize sales profitability, meet customer needs, and develop and expand sales opportunities within the market.

Applicants must have a Degree/Diploma in Sales, be passionate about sales, demonstrate high integrity, be highly motivated, and able to use initiative and drive for results.

Must own a vehicle and possess a valid driver's license.

Roles and Responsibilities
  1. Achieve sales targets as determined by brand.
  2. Develop and approve sales plans for the region by channel, brand, and area.
  3. Manage key accounts by channel.
  4. Organize and execute brand-building activities according to the brand and channel.
  5. Promote and sell products, securing orders from existing and prospective customers through relationship-based approaches.
  6. Visit customers as per the scheduled calling plan.
  7. Make telephone calls to existing and prospective customers to meet sales volume goals.
  8. Support in-store sales through promotions, tastings, merchandising, and display building.
  9. Research sources for developing prospective customers and gathering information on their potential.
  10. Create and manage a customer value plan for existing clients, highlighting profiles, share, and value opportunities.
  11. Identify advantages and compare the organization’s products/services with competitors.
  12. Provide management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and opportunities for new products/services.
  13. Maintain a strong commitment to customer service.
  14. Participate in trade shows and conventions.
Relationship Management

Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business.

Coordinate sales efforts with finance and logistics teams.
