Position Overview:
They are looking for a results-driven Sales Representative passionate about the food industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales within the hospitality sector and a strong ability to build and maintain client relationships. This role requires proactive customer engagement, identifying business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition & Retention: Develop new business opportunities and nurture existing client relationships.
  • Product Promotion: Present and promote a wide range of food products to customers in the hospitality industry.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to adjust sales strategies.
  • Sales Reporting: Regularly update sales performance, forecasts, and market insights.
  • Customer Support: Address customer inquiries, resolve concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Education: A matric certificate is required; a diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the food service or hospitality industry.

Essential Knowledge and Required Skills:

  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of food distribution and hospitality sector dynamics.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets, with strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office; CRM software experience is an advantage.
