Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team . The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by actively promoting and snack products to existing and potential clients in your assigned territory. You will be responsible for customer relationship management, achieving sales targets, merchandising, and growing market share.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell snack products to retailers, wholesalers, distributors, forecourts, and independent stores.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Grow and maintain a strong customer base.
  • Visit clients regularly to ensure high service levels and stock availability.
  • Negotiate pricing, product placement, and promotional activity in stores.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback.
  • Implement sales and marketing campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Conduct product training and in-store activation when needed.
  • Compile and submit daily/weekly sales reports.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels, returns, and collections in coordination with operations/logistics.
  • Travel frequently within the assigned region (Gauteng or Western Cape).

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in FMCG sales, preferably in snacks, beverages, or related categories.
  • Experience working with importers and distributors of snacks (Advantageous)
  • A degree in Marketing or a related field (Advantageous)
  • Must be self-driven, able to work remotely, and travel within SA as needed
  • Driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage multiple accounts.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage a sales territory.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
