Job Objective :
We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to promote and sell our range of smart meters, prepayment metering solutions, AMI systems and switchgear products.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical sales background in the energy or utility sector, with the ability to build relationships with clients, identify new business opportunities, and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets for smart metering, prepayment, and switchgear products.Build and maintain strong relationships with utility companies, contractors, and distributors.Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with potential clients.Identify new business opportunities and market trends to expand customer base.Collaborate with technical and marketing teams to tailor solutions to client needs.Prepare sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.Take the lead on public utility tenders with the support of Head Office technical and commercial teamsProvide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Qualification
Degree in Electrical Engineering / Sales / Marketing or related field.
Knowledge and Experience
Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in metering, energy, or electrical distribution.Strong knowledge of smart metering, prepayment systems, and switchgear is a requirement.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Self-driven with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets.Willingness to travel as needed.Proven experience in meeting or exceeding sales targetsKey relationships with private and public utilities, municipalities and end-users will be key to attaining this role.The candidate is to demonstrate their ability to work unsupervised as this is a remote role with Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) being coverage and customer visits and revenue generation
