Job description

Sales Representative (Diesel & Petroleum) – Johannesburg.

Drive business growth in the diesel and petroleum sector by sourcing new clients, managing relationships, and meeting sales targets.

This role is ideal for a self-motivated and energetic sales professional who thrives under pressure and enjoys the challenge of building a solid customer base. You’ll be working from Randburg and spending a large portion of your time on the road meeting clients across Gauteng.

Salary: R15 000 – R20 000 basic + commission + fuel & cell phone allowance.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3 – 5 years of proven sales experience in the diesel and petroleum industry
  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong sales drive with a results-orientated mindset
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Must be based within or near Randburg

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Source and secure new business opportunities in diesel and petroleum sales
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Conduct regular client visits and follow-ups
  • Negotiate pricing, prepare quotes, and close deals
  • Keep accurate records of all sales activities and pipeline status
  • Provide market feedback and competitor analysis to management
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and delivery
