SALES REPRESENTATIVE CONSULTANT (IT SECTOR)

SALARY: R12 000 - R15 000 + Commission

We're looking for a motivated individual to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced, ever-evolving technology environment.

Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Sales experience (1–2 years in IT, tech, or telecoms sectors)
  • Valid driver's license ,Own vehicle a must !!!. External Sales Position.
  • Basic understanding of IT products or services (e.g. hardware, software, cloud solutions, networking, etc.)
  • Comfortable with client-facing roles and field sales
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literacy – confident with email, MS Office, and CRM tools
  • Willingness to learn and grow within a technology-driven environment
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Able to work under pressure and handle objections confidently
  • A proactive, goal-driven attitude.

Duties:

  • Identify and engage potential clients needing IT solutions (hardware, software, networking, or managed services).
  • Visit clients and conduct needs assessments to recommend suitable tech products or services.
  • Present and demonstrate IT solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Generate quotes and proposals, and negotiate pricing and contract terms.
  • Close sales deals , from lead to signed deal and handover to technical teams.
  • Build strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction, renewals, and potential for upselling.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and performance KPIs.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate solution delivery and customer onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, call logs, and weekly reports for management.
