Responsible for achieving sales targets and implementing sales strategies to attain sales volume, customer growth, patient growth, and customer satisfaction for assigned therapies and/or medical products within the designated geographical area.
- Achieve revenue, sales, profit, and qualitative objectives for the assigned therapies and/or medical products within the specified area.
- Manage daily relationships with assigned customers and plan visits accordingly.
- Build and develop long-term professional customer relationships.
- Prepare, implement, and review targeted account plans aligned with Baxter's commercial policies.
- Plan and prepare for each customer visit, recording outcomes.
- Propose and provide appropriate solutions to maximize opportunities for both the customer and Baxter.
- Communicate relevant information to customers to ensure awareness of Baxter's product portfolio and benefits.
- Acquire new customers.
- Capture and maintain all relevant sales and customer data.
- Share market intelligence and competitor activity insights with colleagues and management to anticipate market moves.
- Maintain presence in all existing and target customers.
- Handle customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
- Continuously assess the market for new opportunities and risks for Baxter products.
- Finalize budgets and forecasts in cooperation with line management and marketing.
- Present Baxter products and their advantages, organize promotional activities, and distribute promotional materials.
- Participate in congresses and customer events.
- Provide training and support to customers as needed.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Account Managers, Reps, and Sales Support.
- Identify tender renewals and respond to tenders with support from line management and marketing.
Requirements
Education / Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably with a scientific or medical/paramedical background.
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the healthcare industry, hospital environment, or medical sales.
- Computer Skills: Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, PowerPoint.
