Sales Representative - Centurion

Our client is a leading supplier in the rubber industry, specializing in the retail of industrial rubber products including hoses, seals, belts, mats, gaskets, and custom solutions for a diverse customer base.

Their clientele ranges from manufacturing plants and automotive businesses to construction and agricultural firms.

With a strong national footprint and a solid reputation for reliability, product expertise, and technical service, they are now seeking a highly capable Sales Representative to oversee one of their key retail branches based in Centurion. The successful candidate will be a Technical Sales Representative tasked with expanding their client base while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, referrals, and online research.
  2. Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
  3. Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions that align with their goals.
  4. Consistently meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
  5. Offer exceptional after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
  6. Represent the brand professionally and enthusiastically.
  7. Maintain a solid understanding of products/services to effectively present their benefits and features.
  8. Track sales activities and performance using CRM software.
  9. Prepare and present detailed sales reports to management.

Experience and Requirements

  1. Experience: Minimum of 3 years in sales or a related field.
  2. Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion abilities.
  3. Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  4. Attitude: A self-starter with a proactive mindset, a "can-do" attitude, and a passion for delivering results.
  5. Team player.
  6. Relationship Building: Excellent at establishing and maintaining long-term client relationships.
  7. Time Management: Highly organized with the ability to manage a pipeline of clients efficiently.
  8. Requirements: Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in Afrikaans and English.
  9. Must have a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
  10. Experience in the rubber industry is beneficial but not compulsory.
  11. Based in Pretoria.
