Job description

To ensure effective merchandising of clients’ products at store level and to maintain call cycles, i.e., the number of liquor stores, shebeens, and restaurants visited within specified time frequencies.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:

  1. Callage and Coverage: Ensure that call cycles are maintained, i.e., the number of liquor stores, shebeens, and restaurants visited within the designated time frame.
  2. Relationship Building: Provide excellent customer service to liquor stores, shebeens, and restaurants.
  3. On Shelf Availability: Achieve prescribed SKU distribution in shebeens and restaurants; identify category gaps for both clients and competitors; identify opportunities to increase client products; ensure product visibility; and facilitate quick shelf placement of new SKUs.
  4. Pricing Compliance: Regularly audit and ensure consistent product pricing; identify and flag anomalies immediately.
  5. Point of Sale Implementation: Ensure POS installations comply with client guidelines.
  6. Order Management: Follow up on unfulfilled orders; assist clients with order-related queries; understand sales targets; develop plans to achieve these targets; and demonstrate entrepreneurial initiative to increase sales and distribution at liquor shops, shebeens, and restaurants.
