Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a candidate based in Midrand, Gauteng, with a completed Grade 12 and bilingual proficiency in Afrikaans and English. Responsibilities include generating new business, managing client relations, and proposing export initiatives. Relevant FMCG experience is preferred. Regular client meetings and reporting on business progress are essential.

Job description

Minimum requirements :

• Must have completed Grade 12
• Must be fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
• Preferably have experience in FMCG and travelling into Africa for business
• Will be responsible for generating new business and sales and meeting monthly budgets. This will include following up on new business leads and reporting back on a weekly basis
• Managing the admin of existing and new clients where necessary
• Proposing new export business initiatives where relevant. This includes new product application sectors, new customers, relationships with agents and distributors in order to expand sales
• Attending of office meetings and training where necessary
• Meeting with clients regularly face to face to discuss current and new business
• Reporting on business progress at a quarterly business review
