A leading company is seeking a senior Sales Representative to launch and market Advanced Wound Care products across the public and private sectors. The role involves engaging with healthcare professionals, building relationships, and driving sales in key territories including Johannesburg, Pretoria, and Vereeniging. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical sales and hold relevant qualifications in biomedical health sciences or nursing.
The company wishes to employ a well-established senior Sales Representative responsible for the launching, marketing and sales of Advanced Wound Care products in the public and private sectors in South Africa.Territory – Mainly Johannesburg, Pretoria and Vereeniging.
Government and Private.The successful incumbent will be based in Johannesburg, reporting to the Regional Sales ManagerSkills required : 5 years minimum experience in the medical device / supplies industry with experience in selling wound care technologiesAbility to identify and engage with relevant key opinion leadersAbility to communicate effectively both orally and in writingComputer LiteracyRelevant work experience, including ability to build relationships with customers and KOL'sExcellent presentation skills and able to create presentation contentSales skillsDriven and energetic self-starter to drive the sales of new innovative wound care productsJob FunctionKey responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following : Identify and engage with key players in public and private wound care sector such as Vascular surgeons, Plastic Surgeons, General surgeons and Professional Nurse PractitionersBuild solid customer relationshipsAttend ward rounds and dressing changesEnsure all activities and sales leads are captures on CRMMonitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.Become highly proficient and knowledgeable with the product range and the clinical factors associated with these productsEducation of the customer with regards to the technical and clinical requirements of the productsConstantly build a good knowledge of competitor products and activities.Assist with clinical trials and data analysisRequirementsQualification and requirementsBSc biomedical health sciences or NursingClinical knowledge of wound careValid Driver's licenseWorked in Sales environment for more than 5 yearsWorking overtime and willing to travelOwn reliable vehicleOwn reliable cell phoneSouth African CitizenLI-AL1Basic salary and car allowance% medical aid and provident fund company contribution5% commission gross profit of total monthly sales
